Dimensions give the possibility to group records in the Regla systems by using predefined values. In this way the company can, for example, see all accounting transaction record for a specific project.
Here is an example of using dimension control. First, user can select Dimension No. 2, name it Projects and click on the line to activate it in account system. After this a field for project dimension will appear both in Registration > Transactions and Queries > Transactions. Similarly, the project dimension can be activated for other systems.
If a user doesn’t want to use dimensions, they will not be visible in any systems.
User can apply dimension in all of Regla’s main systems. It is possible to have 4 dimensions. Dimension 1 is always reserved for departments while user can change the name of other dimensions.
